Education

An ideal STRiV candidate is interested in pursuing a college degree or specific vocational training, but has struggled with social/emotional issues or executive skills deficits. Often, it is in the academic arena that some of these challenges present themselves to begin with, but it can also serve as an important measuring stick for growth.

We are located close to Utah Valley University (UVU) in beautiful Orem, Utah. UVU is the largest university in Utah, and yet boasts small class sizes and individualized attention.

Expanding Educational Opportunities

At Striv Forward, education is not one-size-fits-all. While we frequently partner with Utah Valley University (UVU), we also support a variety of academic and technical pathways based on each student’s goals and interests.
Students can pursue hands-on learning experiences through Mountainland Technical College (MTECH), which offers a wide range of technical programs designed to build practical, career-ready skills.
In addition, our students have the flexibility to attend other Utah-based universities such as Brigham Young University (BYU), University of Utah, or Westminster College—either on campus or virtually. For those who prefer or need to study remotely, we also assist with enrollment in out-of-state colleges and universities that offer online programs.
Striv Forward can also support young adults who are completing their high school diploma or working toward a GED, ensuring that every learner has the foundation and guidance needed to take their next academic step confidently.
